Halloween

This year for Halloween I helped throw a Halloween Party.  We had it at my friend Amanda’s house and she really went all out with all the decorations.  I think everyone that came had a great time!

The Awesome Hostesses:

The decos:

Mummy Hotdogs:

Vampires Blood Adult Punch with dry ice (this was so much fun):

Spider-legged Cheese Balls:

 The Sweet Table:

The Partygoers:

It was so fun that ALL of Claire’s grandparents were able to attend!

This costume was so cute – a shooting star:

Toy Story:

Fred and Wilma Flintstone:

The winner of our best costume…Smurfette!

The next day we continued our Halloween Celebration by going to Boo at the Zoo.  We went last year and I swore I wouldn’t go back because it was SOOOO crowded.  I think going on a Sunday morning was a much better idea this year!  It was so much fun!

After the zoo we came home and carved our pumpkins.  We thought Claire would be so interested in sticking her hands in the gooey pumpkin but she mostly wanted to play with her toys.  Oh well, maybe next year!

Actual Halloween day was pretty low key since it was on a Wednesday.  Claire wore her pumpkin outfit all day.  She wore it to stroller strides in the morning and then we went to the safe Trick or Treat at Regis University in the afternoon.  She really didn’t know what to make of it and some of the costumes scared her!  That night we just answered the door for all the kiddos that stopped by our house!

My most favorite month of the whole year has now come to a close but it is exciting to look forward to the holiday season which is fast approaching!
