Abloom at the Aschmans

This past weekend we started working on beautifying the outdoors.  Usually, we start earlier (around Mother’s Day) but with our vacation we decided to hold off this year.  Here is our progress so far:

Here is one of our pretty rose bushes blooming like crazy!  I have been cutting fresh flowers and making vases for the table!

We also did a lot of tree trimming!  We still have more to do and then we have to chop up this pile to get out to the garbage.  Yard work takes so much time but there is something so rewarding about it!

    Your yard is looking so beautiful and colorful! Dan and I miss having a garden to putter around in. I hope the new homeowners are taking care of all our plantings.

    Beautiful!! My favorite are the flowers in the three pots grouped together. I really need to add some color to out front and back yard. Maybe I’ll work on that this weekend! 🙂
